This season the MCO faces a crisis that may threaten its future and we need your help!
Since its inception in 1974, the MCO’s mission has been discovery: we seek out exciting young soloists who, we believe, will be tomorrow’s superstars (and we have a great track record!), we perform a mix of well-known repertoire with classical works that are not often performed, we feature a Canadian composition in each concert and have had over 30 works written for and dedicated to the MCO. Ticket prices are reasonable in order to enable everyone to attend our concerts and discover a love of classical music. Our goal is that each of our audience members has a feeling of having been enriched by our concerts.
