The MCO is proud to welcome Keith Dyrda an exceptional young trombonist whose musicality and remarkable possession of the trombone will impress. Grand Prize Winner of the OSM Standard Life Competition 2008, Keith Dyrda has become a trombonist of note on the Canadian music scene as well as abroad. He joined the Canadian Brass in 2010 which took him on a world tour to China, Germany, Italy as well as Canada and the United States. Dyrda will perform the Concertino for Trombone by F. David, one of the first works written for trombone which still remains an important piece in the solo repertoire for trombone both for its technical challenge and its tuneful musicality.
